Can I use an old study manual for my course?
The newest manual is the version that matches the current state exam outline (updated every January). We recommend that you purchase it; however, we have noticed through the years that it isn't always quickly available, and some students prefer to use an older version.
Each year, the newest manual will reflect all statutes and ACA-related tweaks that weren’t in the older edition. Much of the core content (contract law, policy types, annuities) doesn't change year to year.
